Public outreach

I do not conceive of my work as a researcher without scientific outreach, either with the actors of the scientific world, public authorities or general public.

For several years, I have been using social media (@seismolucy on Twitter) and have been involved in local science events (Fête de la Science, Nuit de l'ENS) to communicate recent research about earthquakes and earthquake hazards.

For instance, here is a video (in French) of a public scientific lecture based on demonstrations I gave with Jean-Arthur Olive on the relationship between plate tectonics and earthquakes.
